Jim Edelmann, CFA
Wealth Strategist

Jim Edelmann recently joined Tarr Financial as an in-house wealth strategist offering a deeper analysis of more complicated client situations and keeping the rest of the team up to date on industry leading strategies and education. Jim graduated from Walsh College with a master’s degree in finance prior to earning his CFA in 1997 and is brining over 25 years of industry experience from numerous positions. In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter hiking trails with their dog, visiting parks, and cheering on Michigan sports teams with family and friends. Jim also has a keen interest in the ancient military history of Rome and Greece and collecting coins and books from that era.

Doris Morgan
Client Services Manager

Doris Morgan has been a valuable member of the Tarr Financial team for nearly five years. She holds licenses in Life, Accidental, and Health Insurance, and has earned her FPQP designation. Based in our Romeo office, Doris is committed to providing expert financial services. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her children and dog, reading, and golfing. Recently, Doris further advanced her career by earning her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, enhancing her ability to offer comprehensive financial planning and investment advice.

 

Holly Shaw
Client Relationship Manager

Holly was born and raised in Romeo and has been with Tarr Financial for over ten years. Holly is licensed in Life, Accident, and Health insurance, and has received her FPQP designation. She is based out of our Romeo office, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her husband of over twenty-two years and her five children, singing, reading, and watching college football.

Faith Ferguson
Administrative Assistant

Faith Ferguson has been in the financial services industry for three years, recently joining the Tarr Financial team part time.  Faith is based out of our Romeo office, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, baking, and coaching and competing in CrossFit.

Kristina Tarr
Director of Operations

Kristina oversees quality assurance, daily operations, and business activities, including compliance support, client services, and project management. Originally from Romeo, Kristina honed her skills during five years in the Marine Corps as a Signals Intelligence Analyst, where she developed her expertise in strategic operations and problem-solving. She now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, an Active-Duty Marine, their daughter, two dogs, and a horse. Outside of work, Kristina enjoys tackling home improvement projects and competing in show jumping events, blending her passion for creativity and discipline.
